Hull Collegiate Pupil wins all-expenses trip to Google HQ in California in coding competition

A 16 year old from Hull Collegiate School beat more than 3,500 students in a coding competition to win a trip to Google’s headquarters in California. Josh, a Year 11 pupil at Hull Collegiate School, Anlaby, was announced as one of the winners in Google’s annual Code-In competition. Families encouraged to check eligibility for free school meals

Parents in Hull are being encouraged to apply for free school meals for their children. Parents who receive Universal Credit, Income Support, income-based Job Seekers Allowance, income-related Employment and Support Allowance and Child Tax Credit are being urged by Hull City Council to check if they are eligible for free school meals.
