Strawberry brings Shopify Plus expertise to Manchester

Digital agency, Strawberry, has recently announced it is establishing a new base in Manchester. The eCommerce-focused agency, which has recently celebrated its 25th year in business, has a strong emphasis on working with retailers and is one of a handful of Shopify Plus Partners in the UK.
Strawberry have chosen the XYZ Building in Spinningfields, a contemporary and dynamic hub for businesses. James Greenwood, Joint MD explains:
“Whilst we will always call Hull our home, we feel now is the right time to branch out and develop a presence in Manchester. It has a great creative and digital scene which will allow us to better serve our growing network of national retail clients.
“This new base will help us continue doing what we do best – solving retailers’ problems, both online and off. The XYZ building is described as a home for ‘innovators, disruptors and professionals’ – which is exactly what we are.”
Strawberry will be introducing themselves with an eCommerce event on 21st February, where they’ll be collaborating with two of their partners – Bronto and Brightpearl. The event will advise retailers on how automation can remove human hands from their eCommerce processes and free up valuable time to reinvest in the business.
The agency is well-respected for its eCommerce expertise, and was awarded Shopify Plus Partner status in 2015. They have since completed Shopify builds for a variety of retail brands including Deliveroo (https://strawberry.co.uk/projects/deliveroo) , Roland Mouret (https://www.rolandmouret.com/) and Hugh Rice Jewellers (https://www.hughrice.co.uk/) . The team is looking forward to introducing retailers in the region to this platform, as James continues:
“Whilst we work with clients big and small, online and off, it’s fair to say that eCommerce forms the backbone of what we do at Strawberry. Since we were established in 1993, we’ve always looked for innovative ways to help our clients’ businesses.”
“We think Shopify is the most innovative solution to online retail out there and we’re proud to be one of their Plus Partners in the UK. Since moving to Shopify in 2015, we haven’t looked back. It’s by far the most scalable, robust eCommerce platform we’ve ever worked with and suits all of our clients perfectly, whether they’re a first-time seller or an established online business.”
“Delivering online success is our bread and butter and we’re looking forward to supporting retailers in the North-West.”
Strawberry provides its online and offline clients with a wide variety of creative, digital and  marketing services beyond eCommerce platforming, including integrated campaigns, brand and positioning, search marketing, content and design.
Recent notable projects include a refresh of the online brand presence and a redesign of the new Aunt Bessie’s brand website (https://auntbessies.co.uk/) , and the development of alcohol licensing software currently in use by some of the country’s supermarket giants.
In 2016, Strawberry’s 34-strong team moved to Hull’s C4DI in the recently regenerated Fruit Market area, a hub for digital innovation. The agency is now looking to tap into the Manchester talent pool to recruit digital designers, developers and account managers to help cater for its expanding client pool in the region and beyond.
