Summer event to shine light on Hull’s creativity

A three-day event will take place in Hull this summer celebrating the city’s creativity and culture. Creative Hull, from Absolutely Cultured, will see installations and performances taking place all over the city in disused shops and buildings, outdoor spaces, existing venues and online. Absolutely Cultured gets £198,000 boost to support Hull communities and local creatives

Hull’s Absolutely Cultured has been awarded £198,000 from the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation. The funding will support the organisation’s plans over the next three years to increase cultural opportunities within Hull’s neighbourhoods as well as provide professional development and formal training for local creatives.
