Spurn Lightship returns to Hull Marina following restoration

Following a major restoration, Hull’s historic Spurn Lightship will make its final journey to Hull Marina to a temporary berth on Thursday 9 March, subject to weather conditions Preparations to move the lightship are expected to get underway from 5.30am and is due to leave Dunston Ship Repairs on William Wright Dock at 6am, making the short journey to Hull Marina for 7am. Hull City Council to invest in life-saving bleed control cabinets

Hull City Council will be offering £1,000 in funding to help purchase two Emergency Bleed Control Cabinets for the city centre, which are designed to prevent catastrophic blood loss before paramedics have time to arrive.
